About

Hello and thanks for stopping by my blog! I am a Baker, I currently study at the National Bakery School and in my third year on a course called Baking Technology Management BSc. I have been in catering since I was 16 and left school to do a professional chefs diploma. I live food and have a passion for all things baked (especially bread) and hope to share some of my thoughts with you.

I have had a lot of interest and requests on my banner photo so here’s some info about it – fougasse flat bread.

  15. Hello! I just got back from being away (with no internet!) and saw your ‘like’ on the Beetroot burgers. It led me back here which is wonderful! Such nice recipes. Maybe an opportunity too good to miss as well…. as an accomplished baker, can you recommend a recipe for a roll/bun for the burgers? Would be good not to just use generic rolls….

Your blog has some great recipes, I’ll keep checking in to see what else you post. With your training, you also sound like the person to ask when it comes to baking queries..

  26. Dear Danya (is that your first name?)
Thank you for your appreciation. In my family, bakery is a tradition. My grandfather was a baker, his son (my uncle), his grandchilren (my cousins) and his brother also. All males. It is a demanding and physical job, so congratulations for your choice. Women are not that common in this profession and I am very glad to see on your blog, that so many women are passionate about it. Usually, I know from my family experience that female bakers are the best, when talking about aesthetic in the products. This is true, when I look at your cupcakes. Best wishes for your career…
